- A good standard is one that is followed! We are going to have enough
- problems enforcing this standard as it is, we don't need to tell people
- that an established key combo like CTRL+A is not valid anymore. It will
- make this standard NON-STANDARD.

- It is pretty obvious that you are the only one bothered with this. I can
- see your point and if we were devising a new standard for a new OS then
- maybe CTRL+A is a bad idea. But it is too late!
